Painters who treat your home like our own.
April Painting Company, Inc. is a locally owned painting and finish-work contractor based in Lawrenceville, GA. We're not the biggest name in town — we're the one your neighbor recommended.
A craftsman's company.
April Painting Company started with a simple idea: the painting industry has too many companies that show up late, cut corners on prep, and disappear after the deposit. We wanted to build something different — a dedicated team that treats every project like it's our own home, and stands behind the work.
Today we serve homeowners, HOAs, and businesses across Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta. Interior, exterior, cabinets, decks, drywall, trim, and full remodels — all finished by experienced painting professionals who know how to prep, and how to finish.
Every project starts with a free on-site walk-through and a clear written quote. Every project ends with a final walkthrough together, and we make sure you are fully satisfied before the project is closed. Every project includes a written warranty, with coverage depending on the type and scope of work.

Our story, by the numbers
From a small residential crew in Lawrenceville to a full-service painting and finishing company serving Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta.
- Early yearsFounded in Lawrenceville
April Painting Company started as a small residential painting crew serving homes around the Historic Lawrenceville Square.
- GrowthExpanded across Gwinnett
Word of mouth from Sugarloaf, Hamilton Mill, and Suwanee neighborhoods brought us steady residential and HOA work.
- TodayFull-service finishing
Interior, exterior, cabinets, decks, drywall, trim, and turnkey remodels across Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta.
- TomorrowSame prep-first standard
We're still a locally owned, family-run company — and we plan to stay that way.
Experience and project history
Over the years we've completed thousands of painting and finish projects across Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta. Most weeks our team is scattered across Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Duluth, Buford, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, and Milton — running interior repaints, exterior repaints, full kitchen remodels, deck staining, drywall repair, and HOA community work in parallel.
That volume matters. It means we've already solved most of the problems that show up mid-project — original 1980s textured ceilings hiding water damage, exterior wood rot under failing caulk, oak cabinet grain that bleeds through cheap primer, drywall settle cracks that come right back if you don't tape them. We don't guess — we've seen it before.
That's how we're able to offer a written warranty on every project. Every project includes a written warranty, with coverage depending on the type and scope of work. If something doesn't hold up the way it should, we come back.

Clients and projects we serve
From a single accent wall to multi-building HOA exterior repaints, our scope adapts but our standard doesn't.
Single rooms, whole-home repaints, cabinet refinishes, accent walls, deck staining, pre-listing refreshes.
Kitchen and bathroom remodels, full turnkey remodel + paint, trim and crown molding installs.
Multi-unit repaints, community exterior repaints, common areas and clubhouses, turnover work.
Offices, retail, restaurants, and medical facilities — scheduled around your operating hours.

Craftsmanship and prep standards
A great paint job is mostly invisible work. Roughly half of every project we run is prep — and that prep is non-negotiable. Here's the standard we hold every crew to, on every project:
- Surface prep: patch, sand, caulk, mask, and prime every surface before paint touches it.
- Premium materials: Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore by default — or your preferred brand from Home Depot or Lowe's.
- Two-coat standard: every interior and exterior project gets two full coats — no exceptions.
- Spray-grade cabinets: cabinet doors are removed, labeled, and sprayed off-site in a controlled environment.
- Clean job sites daily: dust, tape, drop cloths, and trash leave with us at the end of every day.
- Final walk-through: the project isn't done until you've walked it with us and confirmed it's right.
Local Georgia & metro Atlanta experience
We're a Lawrenceville, GA company, and almost every project we run is within a short drive of home base. That local focus matters more than it sounds — we know the HOA color rules across Sugarloaf, Hamilton Mill, Country Club of the South, and Avalon. We know that pine pollen in April will ruin a wet exterior coat if you don't time it right. We know that Hardie siding from one builder grade era takes paint differently than another.
Most weeks you'll find our trucks across Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Duluth, Lilburn, Snellville, Buford, Dacula, Grayson, Loganville, Norcross, Sugar Hill, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Peachtree Corners, and Milton.
