Vanity refinishing vs. vanity replacement
Most existing bathroom vanities — even older oak or builder-grade maple ones — refinish beautifully with the same process we use on kitchen cabinets: doors and drawers off, sanded, primed, sprayed with moisture-resistant cabinet enamel, and reinstalled. The result is a custom-look vanity at a fraction of replacement cost.
We can also replace the vanity entirely with a stock or custom unit and tie in new plumbing and counter — whichever makes more sense for the bathroom.
Moisture-resistant paint for high-humidity rooms
Bathrooms need different paint than the rest of the home. We use Sherwin-Williams Emerald or Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa in a satin sheen on bathroom walls and ceilings — both products are formulated to resist mildew, condensation, and the constant humidity swings of a daily-use bathroom. Standard wall paint in a bathroom will start showing dark spots and peeling within 2–3 years; the products we use will not.
